FALL PLAY 2018:
FINAL AUDITIONS &
FRESHMEN/NEWBIE ENSEMBLE AUDITIONS
As part of our commitment to a well-rounded theatre education for our students, we produce a play from the Shakespeare canon every three years. This triennial production allows every student who goes through the program to experience the joy of Shakespeare first hand -- at least once during their four year tenure.
However, in order for the stress of learning such elevated language to be minimized, we had auditions in May so those cast in lead roles could take the summer to memorize their lines before rehearsals begin in September.
READ CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS!
If you are a freshman or a "newbie" who wants to audition for the ensemble, please fill out the forms required of you.
To be eligible to become a company member, you will need to read over the FAQ page of this website to learn about how our company operates. If you agree with the policies, you are eligible to audition. To show you have done so, fill out the questions included in the Google Form.
.Make sure you will be available for rehearsals in the fall before auditioning. Look over the months of September, October, and November.
After looking over the Fall Rehearsal Calendar, please fill out the REHEARSAL CONFLICT Google Form with the link located below. More than three conflicts before October 20 may preclude you from being cast in the show. Any conflicts after October 20 may preclude you from being cast in the show.
Freshman and Newbies: Decide whether you’d like to audition on Wednesday, September 5 from 3:00 to 5:00, or on Thursday, September 6 from 3:00 to 5:00. Make an appointment to join one of the groups on either day by going to this website and filling out a time slot designated for Freshmen and Newbies.
For those cast in May : Decide whether you'd like to be tested on Wednesday, September 5 from 3:00 to 5:00, or Thursday, September 6 from 3:00 to 5:00. Make an appointment to join one of the groups on either day by going to the website below and filling out a time slot designated for Memorization Testing and Final Auditions.
Before or after your audition, you will be getting a costume fitting from our costume designer Sara Gray. So, plan to come or stay later than your appointment time.
If you have any trouble at all with scheduling, do not hesitate to email the Artistic Director, Mr. Walter Wolfe at and he will be happy to help you. Each audition group will be required to stay for a couple of activities over a forty minute period.

Our Stage Managers will be there to check you in. They will also be there to help you if you had trouble with any of the online forms. Bring your laptop if you have had trouble with the online forms. Only one computer will be available, but the stage management team will help you complete them.
